myself,

York

to

the
beauty
standards
of
the
fashion
industry.
But
I
never
gave
up. My
big
break
came
in
2000
when
I
was
chosen
to
walk
in
the
Victoria's
Secret
Fashion
Show.
It
was
a
surreal
experience,
surrounded
by
some
of
the
most
beautiful
women
in
the
world
and
wearing
lingerie
worth
millions
of
dollars.
But
it
was
also
a
turning
point
in
my
career.
I
became
a
Victoria's
Secret
Angel
the
following
year,
and
I
have
been
a
part
of
the
brand
ever
since. Being
a
Victoria's
Secret
model
is
not
just
about
looking
good
in
underwear.
It
takes
hard
work,
dedication,
and
sacrifice.
I
spend
months
preparing
for
the
fashion
show,
working
out
twice
a
day,
eating
a
balanced
diet,
and
practicing
my
walk
and
poses.
It
can
be
exhausting,
but
it's
also
incredibly
rewarding. But
I
also
recognize
the
limitations
of
the
fashion
industry
and
the
need
for
diversity
and
inclusivity.
I
have
spoken
out
about
the
pressures
that
models
face
to
maintain
a
certain
weight
and
appearance,
and
I
have
advocated
for
more
representation
of
women
of
color
in
the
industry. As
I
reflect
on
my
journey
as
a
model
and
a
Victoria's
Secret
Angel,
I
feel
grateful
for
the
opportunities
that
have
come
my
way,
but
also
aware
of
the
challenges
and
inequalities
that
exist
in
the
industry.
I
hope
that
my
story
can
inspire
others
to
pursue
their
dreams
with
courage
and
resilience,
and
to
use
their
voices
to
make
a
positive
change
in
the
world.
